Twalert allows you to set reminder messages via twitter so you never forget an important date or event again! there are two options available to you:

Public reminders are simply sent @yourusername and as such are publicly viewable by everyone. You can use this to remind you about events that you don't mind other people knowing about.

There are no requirements for public reminders, except of course that you have a twitter account.

If however you want to be reminded about something more personal, like that doctor's appointment for that, uh, problem, then we can send you a private reminder.

Private reminders are sent to you through a direct message. in order to use this option you have to first follow @twalert
